Maija Sweeney, Au.D
Dr. Sweeney is an audiologist who has been actively practicing in Florida since 1999. She has enjoyed working with both pediatric and adult populations for her 17 year career. She received a doctoral degree from A.T. Stills University, and did her fellowship at Ear, Nose and Throat Associates in Fort Myers, Florida. She has worked in the Melbourne area since 2008.
She enjoys being involved with nonprofit organizations like the Starkey Hearing Foundation’s Hear Now program and the Florida Children’s Hearing Help Fund program; providing low cost, or no cost, services for those in need. She lives with her family; including two children, Briella and Trent, in the Melbourne area. She loves living near the coast, and all activities associated with Melbourne’s beaches, ocean, and river.

Fredericka Clarke, Au.D.
Dr. Clarke began her career, as a fellow, here at Space Coast Hearing and Balance; while completing her doctoral degree from Nova Southeastern University. She continues to practice, with her new wealth of knowledge, and updated clinical skills, at our clinic.
She enjoys working with our new clinical fellows as a co-supervisor, passing on the tradition of excellence to the next generation. She lives with her family, including two children, Ashanti and Kamal, in the Melbourne area. She loves spending time with her family and supporting them in their various sporting events.
